Solar Sales Representative
We are currently looking for a Solar Sales Representative with a passion for renewable energy, technical ability and a vision to grow. As a Solar Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining, and growing the relationship with your existing customers to close deals, and build your book of business. You will be responsible for meeting, or exceeding sales goals set by the company and working with clients to build a vision of what solar can do for them.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Be comfortable with direct sales tasks for Residential and Commercial sales projects
- Display strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Discover, evaluate, diligence, and negotiate with new/existing internal/external sales partners while executing and coordinating on-boarding/change requests with the Operations team
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of competitors
- Co-create measurable and achievable quarterly objectives to address new business development, sales targets and managing existing business
- Ability to properly and efficiently complete extremely detailed work is a must
- Develop and maintain a strong referral network of satisfied customers
- Coordinate with employees on project priorities and customer requests
- Provide other general support for project and office operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Solar experience preferred
- Dependable and timely attendance record
- Ambitious and willing to accept change, new procedures, and constructive comments
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes
- Demonstrates consistent professionalism in the execution of daily assignments
- Strong Interpersonal Skills with a Can-Do Attitude
- Clear Communications Skills (Oral, Written and Comprehension)
Required Education:
- High School Diploma
Compensation:
- Depending on experience, 48k Base salary + aggressive commission
